Check out the legs on the breach baby. Here's the quick story. Alyssa woke up at about 3:30 this morning (Thursday June, 19th) and felt like she may be in labor. She woke me up at 4:50 this morning, and she was about 4 minutes apart. So after we packed (we weren't expecting him for 2 or 3 more weeks) and got ready, we were at the hospital by 6:50. They checked her not much longer after and she was about 6 cm and still breach. And by 8:15 she was in the operating room at 8 cm. Woah! (So I've only been awake about 3.5 hours. And 8:28, Ian Jay came! He was 6 pounds and 4 ounces. Alyssa had the joy of both labor (it was turbo labor), and cesarean section. She did fabulously, and we couldn't be happier! He's quite healthy, and darned cute. Thank you all so much for your love, support and prayers.
